Welcome

I have been knitting for many years. Many many years. One would think that I would acquire some competence after all these years, but no. I am a knitting enthusiast, perhaps that should be enough. I recently made a hat, Oscar, that I have made before, and really liked. Sadly this hat, made with Lion Brand Homespun, is huge. I knit the hat, looked at it, thought, "wow, this is pretty big." and continued knitting. Wrong! The hat is large enough for someone with dreads down to their ankles, but for my little pin head, not a chance. But I am also a knitting optimist, so I plan on making it again, hey, it might be nicer this time.
